During this First Aid Training in Perth, your team will learn how to provide first aid, including CPR, using a defibrillator, administering an auto-injector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, assisting someone who is choking, and more. Upon successful completion, your staff will receive a nationally recognised certificate covering the following units:

Course Fees

For a group of over 6 people, we come to your business location anywhere in Perth and surrounds.

We also help you coordinate your team, whether it’s large or small. We can train 20, 50, 100, 200 or more.

This HLTAID011 course is delivered onsite at your workplace and can be booked at any date and time that suits your business.

We offer flexible scheduling across Perth and surrounding areas, including weekdays or weekends, after-hours options, lunch breaks, evenings, mornings or anytime – so you can train your team with minimal disruption to operations.

This is a blended course with online self-study theory and face-to-face training.

Prior to face-to-face study, students are required to complete e-learning. On average it takes around 4 hours for online study.

In-person training includes hands-on practice and takes 2 hours.

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and performing rescue breathing techniques on manikins

Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

Students undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

For Groups/Businesses wanting HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate, choose Group option.

2. Invitation to Enroll

After booking a time, each person will receive an invitation to enroll within 24 hours. This might go to your junk folder, so keep a look out. Please start the online theory.

3. Payment

For businesses and groups, after booking a time, each person will receive an invoice to make payment. Businesses who will pay for employees, we will invoice the business.

4. Online Theory

After enrolling, you can begin the online theory through the platform, Training Desk. You will need to watch videos and answer multi choice questions. 

5. Day of the Practical Class

For groups, we will be coming to you for the class. The class will take under 2 hours for First Aid. Individuals will join our regular classes, see locations below.

This HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Course is primarily delivered onsite for groups of 6+. However, you can find our regular classes for individuals and small groups (less than 6 people) at Bentley Community Centre, Nyamup Way — every Saturday at 10:00 am.

If you are an individual or smaller group, you are welcome to join our regular classes in Bentley.

Yes, our content is approved by ARC and all certificates are nationally recognised. Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Assessing the casualty and ensuring safety
Accessing emergency services
Performing CPR and using a defibrillator
Administering auto-injectors for anaphylaxis

Envenomation

Sprains and strains
Managing casualties with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock
Simulated First Aid Scenario – Perform CPR on an adult (incl. the use of an AED)

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid = $160 per person 

Yes, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid includes CPR.

Successful students will receive the following units of the certificate:
HLTAID0011 Provide first aid
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support

Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

 

First aid certificate, like HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, stays valid for 3 years from the day you complete the course. But the CPR part (HLTAID009) needs to be refreshed every 12 months to make sure your skills stay up to date.
